Tourism ranks among the top three industries worldwide. In San Antonio alone it employs more than 100,000 workers who annually generate $10.5 billion dollars back into the local economy making tourism one of San Antonio’s largest industries. Tourism is more than just fun, it’s big business!
San Antonio provides the ideal laboratory to learn the tourism business. The Tourism Management Program, in the College of Business, provides UTSA graduates a solid foundation in core business principles to equip them for a tourism management position anywhere in the world.
Students earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing with a Tourism Concentration or a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Concentration in Tourism Destination Development.
